The North Greenville University Athletic Department has formed a relationship with the #1 Ram 1500 Dealership in the entire Southeast part of the United States.

In the summer of 2011, Benson Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep of Greer, a dealership in Greer, S.C. competed with dealerships in six states including North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Florida, and came out on top selling 43 Ram 1500 trucks in the month of June. Benson Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep’s nearest competitor sold just 33 trucks.

The dealership, opened 46 years ago by owner Jim Benson, has continuously shown a commitment to putting the customer first, and attributes a policy of truth in advertising for the recent rise in truck sales.

"The philosophy that [Mr. Benson] pours into all of us is ‘The customer is first, always, period, no exception; and always do right by your fellow man," said general manager Chris Bensch. "We know when we come to work what he expects of us, and we deliver."

Benson recently donated a Dodge Ram to the North Greenville Athletic Department for use in day-to-day game operations.

"We truly are grateful to the Benson dealership for the Ram Truck they donated to us. It was very much needed and we will put it to good use," mentioned Micah Sepko, North Greenville’s Assistant Athletic Director. "We look forward to continuing our relationship with them and hopefully we can help them sell a few more trucks to some Crusader Fans."
