Twenty Second Annual Crusader Club Golf Classic
Tuesday, April 7, 2009

The Twenty Second Annual Crusader Club Golf Classic is set for play April 14, 2009.  The Cliffs Valley staff will again be our host on this truly beautiful course.  We’ll play four-man Captain’s Choice format with a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m.

And now for this year’s “hook”….we have added and incentive this year that will be meaningful to every player regardless of your handicap.  Dick Brooks Honda and NGU will offer one lucky golfer a pickup truck for closest to the pin.  In the past we have placed new cars on the 11th hole and then hoped whoever won it would give it back to the school.

This year we plan to find a sweet looking mechanically sound used pickup truck that the winner can drive home with a smile on his/her face.  Who couldn’t use something to haul the grandkids, dogs or whatever around the neighborhood?

So come on and join us again this year as we have fun and raise scholarship money for NGU.  Scholarships for a student like Amanda Milner, a senior center and dominant presence inside for the NGU women’s basketball team.  Milner currently has 1,193 points and 622 rebounds in 107 career games.   She averages 11.1 points per game and 5.8 rebounds per game.  She was voted a National Christian Collegiate Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-American last season.
Coach Jayne Arledge calls her quietly efficient and has been a major factor in the success of the Crusader women’s program the last four seasons.

Enclosed is our information sheet and registration form.  If we haven’t heard from you within a few days we will follow up with a phone call to gauge your interest.  We will call last year’s players first and close the field when we reach thirty two teams.

Thank you for your past support of North Greenville University.
